USEN-ALMEX and Bear Robotics Announce Strategic Partnership and Exclusive Distributorship Agreement for Servi Plus

Bear Robotics (Japan) - Press Release: USEN-ALMEX Corporation has teamed up with Bear Robotics to expand access to the delivery robot Servi Plus in the Japanese market. This strategic partnership aims to improve service efficiency in golf courses, hotels, and spa facilities.

Starting in September 2024, USEN-ALMEX will begin offering Servi Plus to golf courses across Japan. With labor shortages affecting the hospitality sector, many golf course restaurants struggle to deliver timely service, resulting in delayed food and dissatisfied customers. Servi Plus is designed to address these challenges.

USEN-ALMEX has supported golf courses for over 25 years with digital solutions, including automated payment systems and personal caddy robots. Now, they are set to revolutionize service and elevate customer satisfaction at prestigious Japanese golf courses through its ambitious plan to install 200 Servi Plus robots.

Beyond golf courses and resorts, the first implementation of Servi Plus will take place at Kotori no Yu, a day-use hot spring facility in Nagano Prefecture. This facility includes a restaurant offering specialty dishes made from local ingredients. With staff shortages impacting service speed, multiple units of Servi Plus will be deployed to ensure timely meal delivery.

Servi Plus has a maximum load capacity of 88 lbs, allowing it to carry over 16 dishes at once. It can navigate narrow, complex spaces and traverse all types of flooring and ADA ramps, making it well-suited for hospitality environments. The robot can also seamlessly work alongside other Servi Plus units, improving efficiency during busy times.

This partnership addresses key issues in the hospitality industry, such as an aging workforce and increasing demand for faster, high-quality service. By integrating Servi Plus, USEN-ALMEX and Bear Robotics aim to ease the burden on staff and enhance the overall dining experience.

With plans to expand Servi Plus to various sectors, the collaboration promises to make a significant impact on Japan's hospitality landscape, benefiting both staff and guests alike.
