As a highly experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in both manual and automated testing, we’re seeking a #bloqstar to join our Cloud & Firmware teams. Your deep understanding of software testing methodologies, creative and critical thinking skills will help us ensure the high quality of our smart locker solutions, meeting client expectations and maintaining reliability, performance, and adaptability.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices for both manual and automated testing as the sole Quality Assurance resource
• Design, create, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for our cloud-based and firmware smart locker solutions
• Collaborate with the software and firmware teams using agile methodologies to ensure seamless integration and high-quality releases
• Work closely with the support team to troubleshoot complex problems, identify product weaknesses, and provide expert-level solutions
• Continuously monitor, maintain, and optimize the solution for scalability, efficiency, and auto-recovery
• Implement automated testing procedures for both internal team usage and live product setup/operation
• Collect and analyze metrics from testing activities to measure the effectiveness of QA processes

What are the requirements to join us in this position:

• Proven experience in quality assurance and software testing, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Experience in both manual and automated testing for cloud-based and firmware solutions
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
• Experience in testing IoT ecosystems, embedded systems, and remote fleet management solutions
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a creative mindset
• Ability to collect meaningful metrics and use them to improve software quality

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with performance testing and optimization of software solutions
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and Docker
• Experience with test management tools such as Xray, TestRail, or similar
• Development experience with Python and/or JavaScript
