We’re now looking for a new #bloqstar to join us and lead our Business Development team as the Head of Business Development. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in B2B business development, particularly in high-ticket, complex sales processes.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage potential clients, expanding our market share in the smart locker industry.
  • Build and lead a high-performing business development team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in potential client organizations, ensuring that is top-of-mind when it comes to smart locker solutions.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the current state of the industry, including new trends, active projects, market insights, competitor tracking, and new product development, and share insights with the leadership team to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with high-ticket B2B clients, negotiating contracts and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales collateral and campaigns, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to continually refine our approach.
  • Represent at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, building our brand and establishing ourselves as a thought leader in the smart locker space.

What are the requirements to join us in this position:

  • Proven experience in B2B business development, with a track record of exceeding sales targets, ideally in a high-ticket, complex sales environment.
  • Excellent communication and soft skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders in large organizations, as well as internal teams.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in building, mentoring, and motivating a successful sales team.
  • A passion for technology and innovation. A good understanding of the last-mile logistics space is a plus.
  • Proactive and results-driven approach, able to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to give and receive feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in building, mentoring, and motivating a successful sales team.
  • Previous work experience with B2B tech scaleups is a plus.
