Eurotech (Italy) - Eurotech, a long-time leading provider of embedded computing systems and leader in the Internet of Things (IoT) enablement, announces the availability of its CPU-163-16, a fanless and rugged COM Express module for Industrial, Transportation and Defense applications at the Edge.

The CPU-163-16 is a COM Express Type 10 module with a Mini form factor (84x55mm). It features the power efficient Intel Atom E3900 processor family with 2 and 4 cores, up to 8GB ECC RAM and up to 64GB eMMC.

Its rugged and fanless design makes it ideal whenever long life cycle, resistance to shock and vibration and reliable operation is needed; extended operating temperature range, a full soldered down design (CPU, RAM and Flash), and optional conformal coating add even more resilience in harsh environmental conditions.

The CPU-163-16 is a versatile building block for fanless embedded and connected systems: supported operating systems include Eurotech Everyware Linux and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise.

Eurotech Professional Services are available for custom carrier board design, customer carrier board enablement and to support the full integration with Eurotech’s IoT Edge Framework Everyware Software Framework (ESF), providing native connectivity with many IoT Cloud services and among them, Everyware Cloud (EC – separately available), Eurotech’s IoT Integration Platform, which allows remote device and data management and integration with analytics and IT applications.

The CPU-163-16 will be available from early Q2 2020.
