Tamtron Grows in the Nordic Countries by Acquisition of Danish Company Jydsk Vægtfabrik A/S

Tamtron Group (Finland) - Press Release: Tamtron is now a truly Nordic player in the weighing industry.

– The acquisition supports our growth strategy by strengthening our position, especially in the Nordic countries. With the acquisition, we will be able to better support our customers with operations in all Nordic countries by being their local partner for weighing services now also in Denmark. Jydsk Vægtfabrik has a long tradition in this field, and during the last years they have developed their business to include an e-commerce service for weighing services. They are a valuable addition to the ever-evolving Tamtron Group,” says Mikko Keskinen, CEO of Tamtron.

– We have been working with Jydsk Vægtfabrik for several years, so this acquisition is a natural extension of these year. Jydsk Vægtfabrik is a great addition to Tamtron and I warmly welcome the staff of Jydsk Vægtfabrik to the Tamtron Group, continues Keskinen.

– I am the 4th generation of weighing professionals in my family, as my great-grandfather founded Jydsk Vægtfabrik. Over the years, we have managed to establish ourselves as a reliable partner for our customers, and many of them have been with us for a long time. With this acquisition, Tamtron’s new innovative weighing cloud services, One Cloud and One Scalex, are now more available in Denmark and, combined with our service and delivery solutions, make them particularly easy to acquire. We can therefore serve our customers even better. This acquisition opens up new opportunities for us to grow and expand our business,” says Peter Abrahamsen, CEO of Jydsk Vægtfabrik, about the acquisition.

Jydsk Vægtfabrik is the second Nordic weighing company acquired by Tamtron within a year. With last year’s acquisition of Scaleit AS in Norway and this acquisition, Tamtron continues its steady international growth and strengthens its position, especially in the Nordic countries.
