SIGMATEK GmbH & Co KG (UK) - SIGMATEK, the successful Austrian manufacturer of complete automation systems for industrial machine and plant building, has a established a new subsidiary in Great Britain. English machine and plant builders can now be served quickly and locally.

The Austrian automation specialist is now represented in Great Britain with its own subsidiary. The new location in Nottingham, in East Midlands, is a further step toward internationalization for SIGMATEK.

The head of the UK Subsidiary is Russell Kemp, an automation professional with over 25 years of industry experience. For the electrical and electronics engineer with a deep understanding of technology and machines, customer orientation is essential. "The customer is accompanied from the concept to the market introduction, which includes service and maintenance. The main focus will initially be in the packaging, printing and converting markets with additional applications in the robotics, handling equipment, plastics, labeling and cutting machines to name but a few", explains Russell Kemp.

"We see a good potential for us in the British market. Through local sales and technical service and support, we are even closer to our UK machine manufacturing customers. This is - in view of continuously increasing technological demands - an important aspect", explains Alexander Melkus, Strategic Sales Manager at SIGMATEK.
