The thin S-DIAS positioning module NC 100 is the right choice for diverse motion control applications such as simple motion sequences, synchronization on conveyor belt systems or print mark recognition.

The encoder module is fast and precise. It has an ABR counter function, which can be operated as TTL or RS422, and an integrated encoder supply. Four digital inputs with an input delay of only 10 µs are also provided, as well as four digital outputs with a continuous load current of 2 A. The digital inputs can be used as end or reference switches. An additional position latch on the inputs is also possible. The digital outputs can be used to control actuators during the movement.

The NC 100 is designed for installation into the control cabinet and can be easily wired without tools, preassembled into blocks with other S-DIAS modules and mounted on the DIN rail. The engineering is also user-friendly. As with all SIGMATEK control systems, S-DIAS can also be designed and programmed with the object-oriented engineering suite LASAL. Engineering is also reduced, since all S-DIAS modules are available as EPLAN Macros for easy integration of circuit diagrams.
