Pewatron launches New Absolute Encoders, including multi-turn versions that are completely energy self-sufficient and maintenance-free

PEWATRON (Switzerland) - These encoders are suitable for synchronous motors and also for stepper motors in order to compensate for step losses.

The range includes the N33MA, N35MA and N35ST kit encoders as well as the housed 18SA encoder. The kit versions have no bearings and therefore allow rotation speeds of up to 12,000 rpm.

The use of magnetic technology enables cost-effective, robust solutions to be offered that are easy to install and designed with a resolution of up to 18 bits for single-turn and 32 bits for multi-turn. Optical encoders with a single-turn resolution of up to 23 bits are available if greater precision is required.

Completing the product range is the 18SA miniature encoder in an Ø18mm housing with a resolution of up to 16 bits.
