OAS AG (Germany) - In order to be able to react better to bottlenecks in the procurement of raw materials in the future, OAS is expanding the raw material storage capacities for a leading global manufacturer of mineral paints at its Bavarian location. By expanding the storage capacities, the current volatilities on the raw materials market can be better absorbed and the planning security for the company can be increased.

A later increase in storage capacity was already planned directly during the new construction of the production plant previously carried out by OAS. Thanks to the forward-looking planning, the upcoming expansion can now be carried out without major reconstruction measures and the associated downtimes.

In addition to the mechanical expansion, the plant control and automation technology as well as the pronto process control system supplied by OAS will also be adapted and expanded accordingly.
