New USA Area Sales Manager

Thurne-Middleby Ltd (USA) - Thurne USA and Danfotech USA announce the appointment of Charlie Carr as Area Sales Manager.

Charlie brings more than 27 years of operations management experience with Smithfield Foods and Butterball to the role. He transitioned into packing equipment sales as Area Sales Manager for Middleby’s CV-Tek and Rapidpak brands in 2018.

“Charlie has experienced the day to day challenges of meat processing first-hand,” said Mark Douglas, VP Sales at Thurne USA. “His in-depth knowledge will help Thurne provide the best slicing solutions to suit our customers’ processing needs. We are pleased to have him on-board.”

Thurne is a market leader in fresh and precooked bacon slicing equipment, and offers a comprehensive range of slicing systems for cooked and cured meats and cheese applications.

Danfotech supplies a wide range of specialized equipment for the food processing industry, from bacon presses, defrosting lines, massaging tumblers, ham production lines and tenderizers to loading / unloading systems built around cook tanks or ovens.
