Laumas Elettronica SRL (Italy) - Press Release: 19-20 October: Laumas Opening Party.

A real Event at Laumas to celebrate the end of the expansion and modernization of the Company headquarters, that have led it to double its area. Hundreds of customers from all over the world, suppliers, friends, collaborators and family members, as well as important representatives of the sport clubs that the company supports with passion (Polisportiva Gioco Parma and Zebre Rugby Club) have attended the event.

Founded in 1984 by Luciano Consonni and carried on by his sons Laura and Massimo, Laumas continued to grow steadily, thanks mainly to two key factors: Innovation (continuous investment in Research and Development) and Internationalization (we’re present in 100 countries worldwide). The expansion project, challenging but very successful, was born from the physiological need of new spaces that could better respond to the necessities of a growing company.

In particular, it was realized a brand new Warehouse of 1000 m² able to guarantee the availability of goods ready for delivery (always been one of our strengths); meeting and conference rooms, a room dedicated to Webinars (a very  useful tool for remote training of our dealers), new relaxation areas, such as the panoramic terrace overlooking the Appennines and the new metrological Laboratory, which has a particular value because it will allow us to certify the quality of our products according to European and International standards and increase the services offered to our customers.

The Party was also an opportunity to share with everyone the values underlying our activity and all our choices. We actually think we are not only guided by the logic of profit but also by a human vision that includes a strong commitment to the territory, the environment and the social.

The entire project was designed and realized with an eco-friendly approach: a high-efficiency photovoltaic system was installed on the roof to produce 140 kW of clean energy, allowing us to become completely self-sufficient from an energy point of view. In addition, the existing building, harmoniously integrated into the new one in a single modern structure, was covered by a coat of high thermal insulation that allows important energy savings during heating and cooling, all the existing window frames were replaced to conform with the new ones with minimum thermal transmittance and two electric car charging columns (powered by photovoltaic panels) were installed. All these attentions have allowed us to significantly reduce the environmental impact of the company.

We are aware of the great responsibility we have in trying to give back to the society we operate in a concrete part of the results we achieve, hoping to positively contaminate all the stakeholders involved.

"Everytime we try to become better than we are, even everything around us become better".
