LC Automation is a leading technical distributor of automation, process control and machinery safety products from 25 world-leading manufacturers. An opportunity has now arisen for a Field Sales Engineer to join our team. This role would suit a qualified electrical or controls engineer, who is looking to move into a technical sales role within a well-established business.

As Field Sales Engineer you will be responsible for targeting an established customer base of OEMs, system integrators, panel builders and end-users, developing new and existing accounts in the North East of England. This will involve selling a range of industrial control and machinery safety products from manufacturers including Mitsubishi, Sick, Pepperl & Fuchs, Siemens and Pilz - take a look in our latest catalogue for more details of our full product range.
To be considered for this position, you must have a formal qualification, such as City & Guilds, BTEC etc, in electrical or mechatronic engineering. Previous experience of selling industrial products would be an advantage, although we will provide extensive training and ongoing support. However, to succeed in this Field Sales Engineer position, you must be well organised, self-motivated and able to thrive in a competitive sales environment.
