Propak Corporation (United States) - The Systems Administrator assists in the architecture, support, and management of hardware and software components in the system. System architecture includes Windows, VMWare, Office 365, Spam Filtering, and multiple network security systems.
Essential Functions:
- Surveys and identifies performance needs of LAN and WAN users.
- Establishes goals and objectives based on determined performance needs.
- Designs, specifies, and documents LAN and WAN configurations according to needs, utilizing outside support resources as needed.
- Develops and monitors appropriate security procedures to safeguard systems from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to data.
- Manages existing Windows Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
- Manages existing servers including physical and virtual, hosted on VMWare.
- Manages Microsoft Exchange in both on premises and hosted environments.
- Supports existing disparate networks and VPN environment in multiple facilities across the US.
- Monitors and manages spam filtering and network appliances. Installs, configures, and maintains servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008/R2/2012/2016.
- Provides L2 support for end-user support issues.

Skills & Abilities:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (4-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Computer Science or MIS
- Experience: 3 plus years of experience in LAN Technology including multiple network operating systems (Microsoft Server 2003/2008/2012)
- Computer Skills: Experience working with LAN and WAN environments including switch and router configurations. Solid understanding of IP networking as it relates to local area and wide area networks.
- Certifications & Licenses: IT Certifications including A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, MCSE
- Share Point experience implementation and administration a plus.
