Premier Scales & Systems (United States) - We currently have an opening for an experienced Sales Engineer to join the Premier Scales & Systems team. As the technical side of our sales team, Sales Engineers are responsible for designing, quoting, and implementing projects ranging from truck scales to automated systems. A successful Sales Engineer will be self-motivated and prepared to maintain customer relationships through the development and demonstration of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with other departments to identify, design, and quote customer solutions
• Calculate project cost and sales price
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships via phone, email, and regular customer visits
• Demonstrate value to our customers through marketing material and product demos
• Serve as the trusted advisor for our products and services
• Participate in required meetings, training, and online product launches
• Provide technical training and expertise to other members of our team
• Research and understand our customers’ businesses and industries
• Provide post-sales support and follow up
• Work with the marketing department to identify industry trends

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work alone or in a collaborative environment
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to multitask; handle multiple customers’ needs simultaneously
• Ability to read and explain technical drawings
• Comfortable with one-on-one or group presentations

Preferred Skills:

• Industrial programming or PLC experience
• Project Management
• Prior weighing or metrology industry experience

Qualifications:

• Sales or technical experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent required (College Degree preferred)
