GlobeWeigh (United Kingdom) - Service and Project Coordinator with Office Supervisor Responsibilities (Permanent - Full Time) - Closing date for applications is Friday 6th November 2020.

Our busy service department is seeking an experienced Service & Project Coordinator who will manage a project from initiation to completion. The successful candidate for this position will also undertake service coordination duties and supervise the office in which they work.

We are seeking a focused individual who can ensure that each project is completed on time and at under budget.

  • Planning the project; assigning tasks and controlling schedules; communicating the projects progress to Service Engineers and the customer; and managing the projects budget
  • Supervise office staff
  • Work with Service Engineers to handle project issues as they arise
  • Providing monthly KPI information to management regarding project and service department
  • Ensuring that all projects are executed within a specified time scale, efficiently, meeting the customer requirements and properly signed off
  • Day to day service coordination duties within the service department
  • Day to day taking phone calls from customer’s relating to new and existing jobs and queries
  • Stock monitor and managing purchase order system
  • Operation of computerised service system
  • Housekeeping duties
  • Liaise internally with relevant departments
  • Answering / Filtering Phone calls professionally
  • Work as part of a busy team and on own initiative
  • General and diverse office duties
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Any other reasonable duties

Essential criticia:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal managerial supervision
  • Demonstrate an understanding of project management concepts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Telephone skills – ability to create good working relationships with customers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office packages (word, access and excel)
  • Strong administration abilities
