xAI (USA) - xAI, the company led by Elon Musk, has officially unveiled a preview of Grok 3 Beta, its most advanced artificial intelligence model to date, marking a new chapter in the evolution of AI with never-before-seen reasoning capabilities.

Grok 3: Next-Generation Intelligence

Developed on the Colossus supercluster, with 10 times the computing power of previous models, Grok 3 combines vast pre-trained knowledge with advanced reasoning capabilities. The results are clear: significantly improved performance in mathematics, programming, general knowledge, and instruction-following tasks.

The model achieved an Elo score of 1402 on Chatbot Arena, standing out both in academic benchmarks and real-world user preferences. Alongside Grok 3, xAI also announced Grok 3 mini, a lighter yet efficient version for cost-effective reasoning, especially in STEM areas.
Real-Time Reasoning: Grok 3 (Think)

One of Grok 3’s most groundbreaking innovations is the Think mode, which enables the model to “think” in real time, from a few seconds to several minutes, in order to solve complex problems with precision. This ability is powered by large-scale reinforcement learning, allowing the model to review steps, correct mistakes, and evaluate different approaches.

In the most recent tests, Grok 3 (Think) scored:

• 93.3% on the AIME 2025 math competition
• 84.6% in graduate-level expert reasoning (GPQA)
• 79.4% on LiveCodeBench for programming and problem-solving

Grok 3 mini also impressed with:

• 95.8% on AIME 2024
• 80.4% on LiveCodeBench
• Wide Processing and Comprehension Capabilities

Even with reasoning turned off, Grok 3 provides instant, high-quality responses, excelling in:

• Graduate-level science knowledge (GPQA)
• Video understanding (EgoSchema)
• General knowledge (MMLU-Pro)
• Image understanding (MMMU)

With a context window of 1 million tokens, Grok 3 can analyze extensive documents while maintaining coherence and adherence to instructions.

Grok Agents and DeepSearch: AI with Real-World Access

To take Grok beyond text processing, xAI also introduced its first agent: DeepSearch. This AI is designed to access real-time knowledge, analyze conflicting information, and synthesize clear, complete reports — ideal for research, news, or even personal advice.

Users will be able to interact with Grok 3 and Grok 3 mini via the official API, which will include features such as reasoning, code execution, and internet access.
Availability and the Road Ahead

Grok 3 is being rolled out gradually to 𝕏 Premium and Premium+ users, both on the 𝕏 platform (formerly Twitter) and at Grok.com. Premium+ users will receive early access to Think mode and DeepSearch, along with higher usage limits.

In the coming months, xAI plans to further scale its models and infrastructure, aiming to train even larger models on its 200,000 GPU supercluster, with a focus on scalable oversight and adversarial robustness.
