For High Media Compatibility: the Circuit-Board-Compatible Pressure Sensors of the 89 Series

Angst+Pfister Sensors and Power AG (Switzerland) - Many manufacturers and a wide range of products are available on the market for circuit-board-compatible pressure sensors, but hardly any solutions for liquid or even corrosive media.

The new 89 series now closes that gap. Due to the internal construction, the actual sensor chip is separated from the medium. The measurement medium only touches the stainless-steel membrane and the port is also made of stainless steel. As a result, the sensor can be exposed to all media that won't corrode or damage stainless steel. Thanks to its compact design and robust housing, the new 89 series, like other THT components, can be easily fitted on a circuit board.

A wide selection of pressure ranges for relative and absolute pressure are available as well as an analogue and a digital version with I2C.
